Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work At The Temple by Kid Kosolawat. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 45,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,709.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kid Kosolawat have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Landscape was auctioned for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,177.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Temple von Kid Kosolawat zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 45.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.709,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kid Kosolawat konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.177,17) versteigert.
