Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Buddhist Monk by Kid Kosolawat was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 5,785.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Kid Kosolawat have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Landscape was auctioned for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,177.17).

Die Arbeit Buddhist Monk von Kid Kosolawat wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 5.785,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kid Kosolawat konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.177,17) versteigert.
