Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Klong Rung Sit (Khlong Rangsit) by Kid Kosolawat was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2020. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 3,002.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kid Kosolawat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,177.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Klong Rung Sit (Khlong Rangsit) von Kid Kosolawat kam im April 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 3.002,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kid Kosolawat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.177,17) versteigert wurde.
