Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kevin Zucker could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Open House auction, the work Singing Rule Brittania (While The Walls Close In) changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,053.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kevin Zucker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Highest Place for Miles in Any Direction, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,478.55).
