Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Tigress by Ken Kiff was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2013. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 821.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ken Kiff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blue Tree in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,053.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Tigress von Ken Kiff kam im September 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 821,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ken Kiff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blue Tree im Juli 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.053,27).
