Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hydra by Keltie Ferris was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 8,820.00 (€ 9,015.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Keltie Ferris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work [! ! ?|AID594299] in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 53,448.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hydra von Keltie Ferris wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.820,00 (€ 9.015,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Keltie Ferris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit [! ! ?|AID594299] im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 53.448,81).
