In April 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Totem (Concrete) by Keith Haring. The »bidding war« ended at USD 87,500.00 (€ 72,469.77), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).

Im April 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Totem (Concrete) von Keith Haring zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 72.469,77) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
