Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beach at Nice by Keith Coventry was sold in the The Hoarder: Part III auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,508.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Coventry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 77,316.78).

Die Arbeit Beach at Nice von Keith Coventry wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Hoarder: Part III bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.508,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Coventry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 77.316,78).
