Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Keith Coventry achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work Shurland Estate sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,465.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Keith Coventry; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage sold at auction in January 2020 with the realized price of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 77,316.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Keith Coventry erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Shurland Estate für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.465,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Keith Coventry; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage im Januar 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 77.316,78).
