Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included this untitled work by Kcho. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 10,059.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kcho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La columna infinita II in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kcho zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 10.059,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kcho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La columna infinita II im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
