Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Columna Infinita by Kcho was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2013. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,255.77), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kcho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La columna infinita II in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Columna Infinita von Kcho wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.255,77) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kcho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La columna infinita II im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
