In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Kazuya Sakai. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,642.44), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazuya Sakai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sky of Texas in September last year with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 109,475.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kazuya Sakai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.642,44) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazuya Sakai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sky of Texas im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 109.475,62).
