Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Trois poèmes d' Henri Michaux by Kazuya Sakai for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,942.07). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Kazuya Sakai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sky of Texas in September last year with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 109,475.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trois poèmes d' Henri Michaux von Kazuya Sakai für USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.942,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kazuya Sakai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sky of Texas im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 109.475,62).
