In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work Gateless Gate sold for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,767.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kazuya Sakai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sky of Texas in September last year with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 109,475.62).

In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Gateless Gate für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.767,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kazuya Sakai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sky of Texas im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 109.475,62).
