This artwork by Kazuya Sakai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2015. In the Latin American Art auction, the work De Natura Sonoris, Tríptico sold for USD 81,250.00 (€ 76,926.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kazuya Sakai; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Sky of Texas sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of USD 107,100.00 (€ 109,475.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kazuya Sakai erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit De Natura Sonoris, Tríptico für USD 81.250,00 (€ 76.926,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 45.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kazuya Sakai; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Sky of Texas im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 109.475,62).
