Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Untitled Still Life by Kaz Oshiro. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,556.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaz Oshiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work File Cabinets (black/black), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Still Life von Kaz Oshiro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.556,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaz Oshiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit File Cabinets (black/black) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
