In May 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Fender Champ #2 (Black Flag) by Kaz Oshiro. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,994.13), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Kaz Oshiro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2014 the work File Cabinets (black/black) was auctioned for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2014 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fender Champ #2 (Black Flag) von Kaz Oshiro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.994,13) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Kaz Oshiro konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2014 die Arbeit File Cabinets (black/black) für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert.
