A top price for Katsukawa Shunko
The work Unknown by Katsukawa Shunko was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2003. It achieved a price of USD 10,157.50 (€ 9,318.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. With this result, Unknown is even the most expensive work of art by Katsukawa Shunko that we have observed at auctions so far.
