Two woodblock prints comprising:
- The Boys' Festival: Seyama of the Matsubaya, with kamuro Iroka and Yukari, from an untitled series of Five Festivals (Go sekku), signed Shuncho ga, published by Izumiya Ichibei (Kansendo)
- Senzan from the Chojiya and Ogino from the Ogiya parading with their kamuro, signed Yushido Shuncho ga, published by Fushimiya Zenroku
Both vertical oban:

In December 2019 Christies in London held the auction Art of Japan: Online, which included the work Two woodblock prints of parading courtesans by Katsukawa Shunshō. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,216.03), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katsukawa Shunshō achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty writing a letter, ca. 1789-92 in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,751.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Art of Japan: Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two woodblock prints of parading courtesans von Katsukawa Shunshō zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.216,03) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katsukawa Shunshō erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty writing a letter, ca. 1789-92 im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.751,00).
