Signed and numbered 8/15 in blue ink on the accompanying label (there were also 3 artist's proofs), published by Edition Schellmann, Munich and New York.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lexikonzeichnung (2. Serie: Mensch) Lexicon Drawing (2nd Series: Human), from Door Cycle by Katharina Fritsch was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,159.00 (€ 3,613.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katharina Fritsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Geist und Blutlache in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 159,200.00 (€ 234,771.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lexikonzeichnung (2. Serie: Mensch) Lexicon Drawing (2nd Series: Human), from Door Cycle von Katharina Fritsch wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.159,00 (€ 3.613,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katharina Fritsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Geist und Blutlache im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 159.200,00 (€ 234.771,89).
