Auction result well in line with expectations
The work TXC53 by Kasper Sonne was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,122.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kasper Sonne have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2015 the work Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 was auctioned for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,125.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit TXC53 von Kasper Sonne wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.122,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kasper Sonne konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2015 die Arbeit Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.125,68) versteigert.
