Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints, which included the work Lavandière Au Bord D'Une Rivière by Karl Daubigny. The price achieved of EUR 2,478.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Daubigny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La plage in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 28,184.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lavandière Au Bord D'Une Rivière von Karl Daubigny zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.478,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Daubigny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La plage im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 28.184,45).
