Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French A Flower Still Life by Karl Daubigny was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Daubigny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La plage, which sold at auction in October 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 28,184.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit French A Flower Still Life von Karl Daubigny kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Daubigny mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La plage beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 28.184,45) versteigert wurde.
