Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sunset over the river; A wooded river landscape at dusk; Before sunrise, Tirol; and After Sunrise, Tirol by Karl Heffner was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 867.98). Admittedly, works by Karl Heffner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Dutch waterway at dusk in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,238.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sunset over the river; A wooded river landscape at dusk; Before sunrise, Tirol; and After Sunrise, Tirol von Karl Heffner kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 867,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Heffner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Dutch waterway at dusk im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.238,11).
