In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Harvest Time; And A Quiet River Scene by Karl Heffner. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,750.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Heffner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Dutch waterway at dusk, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,238.11).

Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harvest Time; And A Quiet River Scene von Karl Heffner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.750,88) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Heffner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Dutch waterway at dusk beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.238,11) versteigert wurde.
