Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in New York held the auction FIRST OPEN | Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work In Out, In Out Drawing #1 & #2 by Karin Davie. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,938.54). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karin Davie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Psyche in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 54,775.38).
