A top price for Karin Broos - as previously expected
The work 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') by Karin Broos was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The auction ended at the price of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 42,344.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 400,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') is the most expensive artwork by Karin Broos that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') von Karin Broos wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 42.344,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 400.000,00 – 500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') das teuerste Kunstwerk von Karin Broos, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
