Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karin Broos could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary & Design auction, the work "Cirkeln" changed hands for SEK 240,000.00 (€ 25,606.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 250,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Karin Broos have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October this year by the work 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') at SEK 500,000.00 (€ 42,344.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Karin Broos konnte im Mai 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Cirkeln" für SEK 240.000,00 (€ 25.606,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 250.000,00 – 300.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Karin Broos wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') mit SEK 500.000,00 (€ 42.344,81).
