Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 22.179,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kang Ik-Joong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moon Jars im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 95.518,78).
