Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kamrooz Aram could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Their Flag Is Still Here changed hands for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,687.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kamrooz Aram - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Last Gleaming, which sold at auction in March 2012 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,235.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kamrooz Aram konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Their Flag Is Still Here für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.687,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kamrooz Aram mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Last Gleaming beobachtet, die im März 2012 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.235,93) versteigert wurde.
