Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work A mahogany cabinet by Kaare Klint for DKK 16,000.00 (€ 2,146.32). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaare Klint - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors, which sold at auction in April this year for DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,707.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A mahogany cabinet von Kaare Klint für DKK 16.000,00 (€ 2.146,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaare Klint mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.707,43) versteigert wurde.
