Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mahogany desk with profiled edges by Kaare Klint was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 21,000.00 (€ 2,817.05). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaare Klint - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors, which sold at auction in April this year for DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,707.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mahogany desk with profiled edges von Kaare Klint kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 21.000,00 (€ 2.817,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaare Klint mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.707,43) versteigert wurde.
