Auction result fails to reach estimate
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Safari Chair" by Kaare Klint for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 456.11). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaare Klint achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors in April this year with an auction result of DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,707.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Safari Chair" von Kaare Klint für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 456,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaare Klint erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.707,43).
