The work “Safari Chair” by Kaare Klint was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 11,500.00 (€ 1,542.40), 44% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Kaare Klint have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors in April this year with an auction result of DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,707.43).

Die Arbeit “Safari Chair” von Kaare Klint wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 11.500,00 (€ 1.542,40) und damit 44% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kaare Klint auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.707,43).
