The work Extendable deckchair, model no. 4699 by Kaare Klint was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,769.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kaare Klint; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,707.43).

Die Arbeit Extendable deckchair, model no. 4699 von Kaare Klint kam im November 2019 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.769,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kaare Klint; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A Cuban mahogany sideboard, front with two sliding doors im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.707,43).
