Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Still Life) by Jyoti Bhatt was sold in the Boundless: India auction at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2019. The price achieved of INR 1,375,000.00 (€ 17,345.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as INR 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. Other works by Jyoti Bhatt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2019 the work Pouncing of Kombhodara was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,217.79).
