A top price for Justin John Greene - as previously expected
The work The Slob is Dead by Justin John Greene was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,743.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Slob is Dead is the most expensive artwork by Justin John Greene that we have observed at auctions so far.
