Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2020 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Julio Alpuy for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,026.81). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio Alpuy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construcción en madera in September last year with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 83,716.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2020 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julio Alpuy für USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.026,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julio Alpuy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Construcción en madera im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 83.716,65).
