Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Blue Magic by Julie Mehretu was auctioned at Christies in London in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,972,500.00. Other works by Julie Mehretu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 44,209,000.00 (€ 5,032,271.67) in April 2019 for the work Black Ground (Deep Light) .
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blue Magic von Julie Mehretu kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.972.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Julie Mehretu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 44.209.000,00 (€ 5.032.271,67) im April 2019 für die Arbeit Black Ground (Deep Light) beobachtet.
