Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work No Place Like Home by Julie Curtiss. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 252,000.00 (€ 293,645.51). Other works by Julie Curtiss have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 466,200.00 (€ 393,484.13) in June 2021 for the work Three Widows.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Place Like Home von Julie Curtiss zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 252.000,00 (€ 293.645,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Julie Curtiss haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 466.200,00 (€ 393.484,13) im Juni 2021 für die Arbeit Three Widows beobachtet.
