Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Subjective Undulation by Julian Stanczak was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 50,775.00 (€ 47,658.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Stanczak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Undulating Currents, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 98,986.38).

Die Arbeit Subjective Undulation von Julian Stanczak kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.775,00 (€ 47.658,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Julian Stanczak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Undulating Currents beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 98.986,38) versteigert wurde.
