It achieved a price of USD 40,695.00 (€ 38,196.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Stanczak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Undulating Currents, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 98,986.38).

Die Arbeit Lineal Aggression von Julian Stanczak wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 40.695,00 (€ 38.196,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Julian Stanczak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Undulating Currents beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 98.986,38) versteigert wurde.
