Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ghandi by Julian Pace was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 35,560.00 (€ 40,456.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Pace - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kanye, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 113,400.00 (€ 132,109.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ghandi von Julian Pace wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.560,00 (€ 40.456,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Julian Pace mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kanye beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 113.400,00 (€ 132.109,74) versteigert wurde.
