In the American Art auction, the work The Grey Trellis changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,702.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julian Alden Weir have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nassau, Bahamas in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 459,000.00 (€ 393,316.20).
