The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,327.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julia Mangold have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 12.11.00 in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,682.06).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit O.T. 29.6.98 von Julia Mangold wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.327,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julia Mangold auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 12.11.00 im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.682,06).
