Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Twinka, 1970 by Judy Dater for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,530.19). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Dater - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Twinka, 1970 von Judy Dater für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.530,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Judy Dater mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.876,87) versteigert wurde.
