In September 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs from the Forbes Collection, which included the work Imogen and Twinka, Yosemite, 1974 by Judy Dater. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,444.25), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Judy Dater have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87) in February 2008 for the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974.
