This artwork by Judy Cassab achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2007. In the Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works auction, the work Australian Four Figures sold for AUD 2,160.00 (€ 1,291.63) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Cassab - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl with Bruegel 2, which sold at auction in August 2003 for AUD 6,462.50 (€ 3,817.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Judy Cassab erzielte im August 2007 bei Sothebys in Melbourne einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works wurde die Arbeit Australian Four Figures für AUD 2.160,00 (€ 1.291,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Judy Cassab mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl with Bruegel 2 beobachtet, die im August 2003 für AUD 6.462,50 (€ 3.817,73) versteigert wurde.
