Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Naturaleza muerta con cabeza negra by Juan Soriano for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,940.83). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Soriano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Naturaleza muerta con cabeza negra von Juan Soriano für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.940,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Soriano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apolo y las musas im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
