Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Espejo Azul by Juan Soriano was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2013. The price achieved of USD 60,000.00 (€ 44,098.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Soriano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
